Blackduck Lodge and Resort Guest Rules

Arrival and Departure Times:

Check in time is at 3:00 pm. Check out time is 10:00 am. These times are set to allow us to have the resort properly maintained and ready for our guests. Please do not arrive early without prearranging with us.   If you would like to fish prior to check-in, use the Blackduck city boat launch.  Please ask if you need a late departure. An additional fee of $50/hour will apply to unapproved late departures.

General Rules:

1. Quiet time is between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM. Please be mindful of fellow guests.

2. No smoking in the cabins. Violation of this rule will result in an additional $200 cleaning fee. No exceptions. You are welcome to smoke outside or on the decks with the exception of the Studio, which is a No Smoking Area. Containers are provided for cigarette butts.

3. No fireworks or illegal items are allowed.

4. Fires are only allowed in the fire rings provided for each cabin or in the large bonfire ring. You are welcome to gather firewood from around the property.

5. Close all doors and windows when running the air conditioner.

6. No pets are allowed.

7. Our property is on a septic system. Please do not place anything in toilets other than toilet paper – no paper towels, handiwipes, diapers or feminine sanitary products.

8. Please use the fish house to clean fish. Thank you for not cleaning fish in the cabin.

9. The beach area is provided for swimming. Do not allow children to swim near the docks or play on the docks. Boats, propellers, and kids don’t mix well. Per our insurance, all guests must wear life jackets when using the kayaks, canoe, or paddle boat.

Visitor Policy:

1. Please prearrange visitors with us at least 24 hours in advance. Unexpected visitors will be asked to leave. Please limit visitors to 4 per cabin per day.

2. Visitors are welcome from the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and must park in the designated area. Please do not park on the grass.

3. Visitors must check in at the lodge upon arrival and check out at the lodge when leaving.

4. Guests are responsible for any damage incurred by their visitors.

5. Visitors may not bring pets, motorized vehicles, boats, or jet skis and are subject to same resort rules as guests.

6. Visitors are welcome to enjoy your cabin and the swimming beach.

7. Due to liability issues, visitors may not use kayaks, canoes, or paddleboats. The guest must accompany visitors when using a resort rental boat.

8. Children of visitors (12 years & under) must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Upon your departure, please:

1. Please leave property reasonably neat. Take out the garbage and return furniture to original location.

2. Leave all kitchen items clean and put away (dishes, pots/pans, etc.).
